Here is the sketch for this weeks Mojo234 Monday.  I decided to go 'square' and used an Easter theme!

PPA131 Sketch Challenge

Today's PPA sketch challege was a fun card to make.  I got to watercolor!!  I have always loved coloring!   The framelits that 'Stampin Up' came out with recently are so easy to use and have become some of my favorite things to use when I make cards.

PALS March Blop Hop

Spring is here, and that means Easter is around the corner too!  I made two different Easter cards for the PALS blog hop.  One is a Christian card and the other is a fun Easter bunny with his egg basket.

Items used for the Doily, "He is Risen" card are as follows:

     -Stamp set:  He is Risen and Take it to Heart

     -Paper:  Ivory, pink piourette, melon mambo, lucky limeade and sahara sand

     -Ink:  melon manbo, pool party, pink piourete, lucky limade

     -Accesories:  Antique brads, pearl jewels, lucky limeade ribbon, whisper white organza ribbon               and eyelet border punch and large sizzlets doily die                       

Items used for the 'Bunny' card:

     -Stamp set:  Oval All

     -Ink: rich razzelberry, blach stazon, bashful blue, so saffron, and sahara sand

     -Paper:  Sahara sand, speciality sweet shop DSP, pretty in pink, rich razzelberry, melon mambo,

                   ivory, whisper white, basic black, daffodil delight, and bashful blue

     -Punches:  1 3/4" circle, 1 3/8" circle, 1" circle, 1/2" circle, owl punch builder (eyes), large oval, and

                       itty bitty shapes pucnch pack (tail),  2 3/8" scallop, 2 1/2" circle, scallop oval, and

                       boho blossoms punch

     -Accessories:  Occasions mini brad and ribbon pack, mini brads (brights collection), glitter brads,

                           old olive satin ribbon, multipurpose glue, dimensionals and white gel pen (eyes)

Spring/Easter Cards

The cards I made all reflect upcoming Spring!  In North Dakota it seems like we just started winter in March; we have had a wonderful winter season so far!  It is nice to know that whatever cold, wintery weather we get now will soon melt away to Spring!

 

All four cards I made I used the paper from the sale-a-bration catalog from Stampin' Up!   So many beautiful colors to work with!

Tri-fold Easter Card

For Today's PPA color challenge, I make a tri-fold card for Easter.  Lucky Limeade and Always Artichoke were the two required colors.  I got to choose the third color which was So Saffron.  Thanks for stopping by!

Purse (card holder) with Matching Cards







My project consists of a purse that serves as a card holder and two matching cards.  I made 4 of these for my co-workers at Christmas time, and filled them with cards I had made.  It was a hit!!  I need to give credit to Tami White for the purse project.  It has been so fun for me to make these over and over with different DSP and endless color combinations.
