I started this blog when I signed up to be a Stampin Up demonstrator; but at this point I am strictly a "hobby" stamper. I love to paper craft and have started to make cards for the "Pretty Pals" Stampin' Up group to which I belong. I have been enjoying participating in the Pretty Pals color and sketch challenges, and I am looking forward to joining in on the 'blog hop' soon! Having a blog makes it easier for me to showcase my cards and projects. Thanks for stopping by!

I'll help you "hop along" from blog to blog where you'll find great ideas for Stampin' Up! fall projects! Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the Pals Hop Line-up below and you'll be back on track
I made two cards today. I used one of my all time favorite stamp sets; "Lovely as a Tree". I stamped the tree with black stazon ink, then I used 3 different colors of Stampin' Up! ink with a blender pen and colored in the foliage of the tree. The trees here in North Dakota are starting to change colors. This big tree reminds me of the colors around here.
The new designer series paper (Naturals Composition) with the wood grain embossing already on it was just the perfect paper for my card.
Here is the second card I made. I layered the tree on 3 different layers of paper. I added the pearls on the bottom for the finishing touch.
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your blog hop tour!

PPA142
Color Challenge
Today's PPA Challenge features the colors below:
My inspiration for the fish came from Niki Toll. She had a card on Pinterest.com that featured a punch art fish. When I saw it, I knew I had to case it!! Isn't he cute?!

The card I made for the blog hop features the stamp set, 'Perfectly Preserved'. This set is so versatile and fun to use. I thought the "Orchard Harvest" designer series paper (DSP) went well with this set. I layered the card to get some depth and detail. I just tore the edges of the paper to get the jagged edge look.
I used some of the new in-color ink to coordinate with the DSP when I stamped the jars and apples. Bakers twine was used to top off the jar on the right.
Here is a close up look at the jars!
Now hop along for more inspiring ideas from Mikki Sarkisyan stop number 20 on the Pals Holiday Catalog Blog Hop! Thanks for "hopping" by!
